Wish Jumbo

My name is Tonye which means Wish in Ibani and I’m the owner and lead designer at I Dream in Decor. I’ve been designing events since 2013 when a friend asked if I would decorate his wedding. I owned a design house in West Africa for 5 years, planning and decorating events for as small as 10 guests to weddings for 1000 guests, until my move to Victoria. Although in Victoria, I have only just joined this team of amazing wedding vendors on the island, I come equipped with lots of experience and a passion for creating beautiful spaces. Running an event business for 5 years, I know how partial I am to design and décor. While I have been blessed with excellent organizational skills, having worked as an administrator for 12 years, something about design and decoration makes me giddy.  Knowing this, I would rather collaborate with many of the amazing planners on the island to plan your event and focus solely on transforming your space into the very best of your imagination except you insist. I love children’s events because of the colours and the room they allow for creativity to shine through, I love weddings because there are so many different styles and seeing the happy couples reminds me love wins. I hope I get the opportunity to design something amazing with you.
